Arpith, our Inter-church Youth Fest is conducted every alternate year by the
youth of St. Andrew's Church, Bangalore. Due to the pandemic, there was a big
gap, and Arpith finally happened after four long years.
The word "Arpith" means "to give". It is the giving of talents to God. More than
hundred different churches were invited in and around Bangalore, for the two-day Fest.
The theme of Arpith this year was, "Refiner's Fire", reflecting on how important it
is to be refined by God. Through our pain and suffering, God moulds us into
someone worthy, someone strong, someone wonderful. He gives our life
meaning and a purpose.
This year, sixteen events took place within the two days - November 12th and 13th.
Around forty churches took part in various events like Music, Choreography,
Quiz, Photography, and more.
The two-day Fest, held on Saturday and Sunday, the 12th and 13th of November
2022, and Treasure Hunt, which was conducted on the 5th of November 2022,
went on smoothly. Even though the weather was not in our favour, God helped us
in every possible way to make this event a great success.
We are very thankful for all the support we received, and above all we would like
to thank God Almighty for being there with us throughout.
Mr. Kenneth Franklyn
