Our Theme for this year's 7 Days Festive VBS 2022 from April 18th - 24th was Copy Cats - Imitating Jesus based on 1 Corinthians 11:1.
The Sub-themes as Focus Points for each of the 5 days were:
Day 1: Holiness - Knowing God
Day 2: Forgiveness - Repentance and Salvation
Day 3: Attitude - Renewal of Mind
Day 4: Love - Sharing
Day 5: Hope for Eternity
The above points were taught throughout the day, through Theme-
related Songs, Memory Verses, Bible Stories, Crafts, Games and Video
viewing.
We started with an exciting fun filled day of Teachers and Volunteers
Training Session by VBS Ministry on April 2nd 2022, from 10 am to 2 pm.
VBS in our church started on April 18 with Teachers Devotion led by our
Presbyter, Rev. Dr. Dexter S. Maben, followed by other teachers for the
next 4 days.

children were introduced to the theme, followed by:

Catch Truth was the Station where children learned Bible Stories in the
most creative way through role play and decoration of their class in
relation to the story.
Station 2
Athletic - the most awaited Station with exciting and innovative games
where children would learn important life experiences and values.
Station 3
Purrfect - the Creative Craft Section
Station 4
Pawsee - Our Video Viewing Station, where children were nourished with
Spiritual Life Lessons.

Closing Mewsing Session - where children were asked questions on
the Day's Lessons.

Cafeteria was our Snack Time, where children relished different snacks,
juices and even tender coconuts on one of the days!
On Saturday 23rd April, we had our Inspection Day followed by Love
Feast, where children and teachers shared their food with each other, and
we had our Final Rehearsal for our Presentation on Sunday 24 April,
during our Morning Worship Service, which was celebrated as VBS
Sunday.
This past week has been a blessing with joy, laughter, fun, cries, falls and
hurts, new friendships, birthday celebrations, talents exhibits, and so
much more!
I would like to take this opportunity to firstly thank our God Almighty, for so
beautifully leading us, guiding us, providing for us every small wish and
granting us a total registration of 110 Students, and 30 Teachers and
Volunteers.
Our grateful thanks to our Presbyter and the Pastorate Committee, for
their support and encouragement to take up new challenges, and go
ahead with new, innovative and creative methods of teaching and
learning for our children.
Our thanks and appreciation to Mr. Ajith John for accepting our invitation
to share God's Word during our Worship Service
A special word of appreciation to our Team of Inspectors who inspected
our children on Inspection Day, who also felt blessed to be part of our
VBS: Rev. Calvin Sushith Ambler, Dr. Helen Pramila Samuel, and Mr.
Devin Ryan Pearl
Our gratitude and thanks to the Energetic Team of Teachers and
Volunteers who have worked sooooo very hard behind the scenes to
make this VBC an interesting one. Right from our weeks of preparations
till the final day, God has provided us with hands to complete every small
detail, be it decors of each room, crafts, music; or putting together music,
songs, videos, photography; pasting, serving snacks ... the list can go on
... It's been a non-stop stay-backs till late night for some of us, where we
would be jokingly asked by our Presbyter, "ivothu iliya irthira? manege
hogalva?" Thanks to our dear Presbyter for opening the doors of his
home for anything we needed.
Our thanks to the Team of Musicians for their support
A big thank you to all our sponsors, and members of our congregation, for
their constant support and prayers; our Office Staff who always have a
smile and are ready to attend to our request even if it is a late night buzz or
reminder! Our Support Staff for working so hard to ensure we have clean
working space every day.
Thank you to all you wonderful parents for encouraging your children to
complete these 7 Days of VBS; to parents and grandparents waiting
patiently in the quadrangle, and lending a helping hand whenever asked
for.
Last, but not the least, our little kittens who have attended with so much of
zeal and enthusiasm and for their thirst to learn more about the Word of
God.
May God continue to lead and guide each one of us as we serve for His
Glory, and for the furtherance of His Kingdom.
Regards
Mrs. Sushma A. Sadananda
