
Stuthi@Tumakuru on 10 Jul 2016: As part of their singing Ministry
beyond the four walls of the church, Stuthi visited CSI Wesley Church
Tumakuru on the second Sunday of the month. It was heartening to see all
the members at our church by 5:30 am! We reached Tumakuru along with
our Presbyter by 7:30 am. It being the Theological Education Sunday, and
as she is reputed for, Rev Jessie Ranjan wove four songs of Stuthi -



The purpose of this Kannada Music Group is to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ though songs, encourage others in their walk to provide an avenue through which individuals may use their talents to glorify God and praise His name.
The group initially started with a few singers and Instrumentalists with the aim of reviving the old time favourites. To begin with, the group sang occasionally for certain important occasions and festivals. Later on it began to draw more number of people interested in singing lyrics and bhajans. The group has also sung new compositions by its own members.
Over the years the group has grown in number and is now christened as Stuthi@St Andrews, symbolizing its purpose (Stuthi), the use of technology(@) and belongingness(St Andrews). |
